I am so glad that my husband found this to add to our family shelves. My 7 year old is intensely interested in the story - they are reading it as I type. ❤️

I enjoyed reading this book even at 35 years young! It is a tale written for comrades young and old. Purchase this book for children so they can learn the power of community and justice at a young age. Buy it for someone middle aged to learn about the dangers of oppression. Purchase this book for the elderly so they can be reminded that everyone has a voice!

I read it to my 6 year old son and his words by the end “that’s what I’m talking about! That’s my kind of book!” so yeah…. well done.

Kind of disappointing to be honest. Very small flimsy book and not a very riveting story. The formatting and illustrations are not what I expected.

We LOVE this book! I was looking for something exactly like it to read to my 5 year old and they constantly ask me to read it multiple times in a row. They also identify with Stella, so it’s a win all around!

My daughter is 4 and loves this book. She doesn't get all of it yet, and that's okay. I want her to know how to be a good community member the whole way through.

This is a great, quick children's book, that teaches equity, standing up to intolerance, and emphasizes community organization in such a simple way for little ones to understand that it's a must buy for any parents. It's recommended for children 4 and up, but my 7 year old absolutely loves it, and has read it every morning since we received our copy. It's really a great read for almost any elementary school-aged kid.
